100 Year Corporations

A discussion about the art and science of foretelling companies which are positioned to last for at least a century. The intention is for the reader to identify, or be equipped with pattern recognition skills.  A recent study by McKinsey found that the average lifespan of S&P 500 companies in 1958 was 61 years.  The study also believes by 2027, 75% of the companies quoted on S&P 500 will disappear.  “Predicting The Next 100 Year Corporations” features 12 companies it believes will celebrate at least 100 years in business.
